Using Double Down

<<<<<<<<<. This happened to me once, Got 4 aces for
800 coin payoff, went to change coin denominations since now I can afford
it
, and double up ( beat an ace please - you sucker ) came up on the screen
!>>>>>>>>>>

Reminds me of a time when I was playing $1 NSUD in a casino where the
$1000 jackpot for 4 deuces was a handpay. Well this day I'm not in a
great mood (not a rare occurrence) and I hit the quad deuces. I
immediately start sputtering to myself about having to wait for a handpay
and the attendants all looking for their tips so I decide to go for
double down. At least now if it's a handpay they will have to work for
their tips by making out a W-2G. My bad attitude was meet with an Ace to
beat. I decide that this serves me right as the best I can achieve is a
tie. It turns out I choose a deuce which beats an ace in a deuces wild
double down. At least I learned something out of the experience besides
getting the $1980. I had to explain to the attendants why they were
paying me $2000 for a $1000 hand because they said they had never seen it
done before.

Congratulations. You either have the biggest set I've ever heard of, or
you have an I.Q. of a poodle.

I think the former.
