I am under the understanding that in order to be qualified as an Indian or
Native American casino, there needs to be one founding member with a Native
American heritage that can be several generations removed, and of course a
reservation. Case in point-Foxwoods. Most of that corporation is run by
non-natives. Also, it is my understanding that the "regulatory body" of all native
casinos across the country consist of maybe a dozen members. Not much in the big
scheme of things to watch over all that action. I am interested if this is
actually factual, now that the subjest has been brought up.
I guess turnabout is fair play, because all I know is that I get scalped
every time I go to one.

worry about whatcha call 'em, just go spend a few bucks there. There
are some fair to pretty good Indian casinos in CT, So. Calif,
Michigan, Wisconsin, Kansas(1), and Las Vegas (Casino MonteLago).
