Updates for the Rivers (IL) and Majestic Star (IN)

Rivers (IL): Sadly (but not a surprise), the $5/$10/$25 Dream Card game has been downgraded and will be removed from the database.

Majestic Star (IN): The new non-smoking section on the Majestic Star 2 - lowest deck has opened.

Roughly 400 slots and ZERO video poker. I spoke to one of the suits there about that.

On a more pleasant note, My mom and I had a $1444 1st half real estate tax bill for our condo due on 3/4/14.

On 3/2/14 my mom hit a progressive royal for $1491. After the IN take out it was $1440.

I could not take a photo quickly enough. I hit a 25c royal on 3/9/14 and I do have a photo that was taken so quickly that full 4000 credits ($1000) had not completely posted.

I forgot to check the “Double Pay” games on the same machine. Would suspect they are downgraded too. Will check within the next two days.

I have removed the “Dream Card” games from the database.

could someone give me some info on comps at aquarius? is there a comp account? do the hosts give comps on their own? how much play/day are they looking for?

I don’t want to use my points if I don’t have to. am currently green card but will be red card soon.

Found Aquarius host and comp system overall to be excellent.
And the VP is best in town.

I have to agree. The Aquarius is the best bet on the river. I never had a problem getting everything comped.

Do you (or someone else) have any updates for the Horseshoe Hammond? I was looking for the 99.92% JW game and I couldn’t find it. I suspect there are other games gone and perhaps some new good games.

From what I have heard the Horseshoe Hammond VP has been completely trashed!

I personally have not been there in several years so I cannot tell you for sure.

One of the houses I monitor (Majestic Star 2) still has six of the 99.92% JW games at the back right of the VP room on the 2nd floor.

Three of these are 25c/50c/$1 and the other three are $1 only.

The bad news is that these take $100 per point and a point is worth 1c to the top two card tiers and 1/2c to the lowest tier.
