Update

About half of the MS $1 machines in question are now $180/pt (3 of 9
slant tops and 6 of 11 uprights). I suspect that is has to do with a
game that is not Pick 'Em. Is there something loaded on some machines
that is not on the others? I know the 'menu' is differenct on some.

P.S. No one seems too outraged about this. For my money, I will
refuse to play he $180 machines. Boycotting is the only thing they
understand. I pointed out the sticker on the machines to a number of
people who were playing and unaware of the change - to a person they
shrugged their shoulders and mumbled something like "that sucks" and
kept on playing. VP players of the world unite!!

Yes, there are several games available on only some machines.
Time will tell if the mix remains of points on the $1 machines.
I know a lot of people play keno. Could that be the game MS is
concerned with? :0)

Yes, I was talking about the $1 PE machines. I should have been
clearer but thought that my reference to the Sky upright PE and old
poker room slant tops would have made that clear...I'll try to
provide more detail in future posts...sorry if this confused anyone.
I know the higher coin value levels have been using the higher
conversion rate for a while.

I did look at the PE machines today and saw that not all of them had
the signs. Because they were being played when I was there, I was
not able to look at the menus to see if there were any unusual games
from the ones that did not have the sticker. I did notice that in
the old poker room that it seemed like every other machine was
labeled...my initial thought was to hinder people from playing 2
machines at once. I know that there are a few people who do that
(sometimes I have in the past). I could be wrong. I do know that
some of the machines also have BlackJack....don't know if that's the
offending game. I'll try to check it out Sunday if I can.

Royals to all!

Don't be so naive. There aren't any other "offending games" on the
machine when you have PE at 99.95%. Like someone has posted, they
just haven't retooled the others. Did you really think that they were
going to start to give free play on one hand without taking back
something with the other ?

I believe according to my wife's and my points yesterday that even the
machines that were not marked yet were the same rate. This is true for
the Sky and Poker room. I know we both played on marked and unmarked
machines so it could have been a coincidence that our points pretty
much matched.

Hey, maybe they could crank the speed back up a bit to make it bit better.

Free Play is great. I like Free Play.

I agree with Larry. My first thought about the point rate change was
they started the free play. The are not just going to keep giving and
giving without offsetting it with something else. Makes sense to me.
