I just visited the castle on Sunday night. There's a bank of 5/10/25-
cent 9-6 DDB machines on the east side of the casino, on the right as
you walk toward Tower I from the center. There's a bar with Sports on
TV right next to this bank. What was interesting is that the 25-cent
level had a progressive for the RF, which was over $1,300. Not often do
you find better-than 99 percent DDB at the quarter level on the Strip!
And at what point does it become 100 percent? Did I read somewhere it
does this at $1,500?
Also worth mentioning is that 9-6 DDB at the nickel and dime levels is
pretty hard to find almost anywhere.
These machines were quite busy at 10 p.m. Sunday, with people sometimes
standing around waiting for a seat.
