Even if you're moderately famous, and perhaps especially if you're
African-American and only MODERATELY famous, it's a bad idea to carry
$12,000 cash and a bunch of Cuban cigars in your luggage when crossing
into the US.
You don't dare declare the cigars because they'd be confiscated, and
carrying over $10K cash would invite hassles if you declared that. So,
you try to sneak both through -- and then use the old "I forgot" line
when the agents discover those items during a search of your car.
