update on missing high roller machines at Sam's Town

I haven't been to ST in several years. If the game is really 8-coin 9/6/4
DB, wouldn't the Royal reset to $6400? I guess not, since it is listed below as
less than that. So what DOES it reset to? Not that I plan on playing it,
just curious.

It's not so strange once you recognize that it's an 8-coin machine ---
it's a 9/6/4 DB --- avoid. They have 9/6 Jacks on the same machine.

Which reminds me of something that happened at Golden Nugget/Laughlin
maybe 7 or so years ago. They had some 8-coin dollar 9/6 Jacks in
their bartops. I don't know how the situation developed but on one of
those machines some hustlers were betting five coins but getting payed
off the 8 coin pay schedule. How sweet it is!! Except, they got
trespassed.

I can't say for sure about that particular bank. But in the past I've
seen 8-coin dollar 9/6 Jacks around Las Vegas where the royal started
at $4000.

Brian, not only does it reset at $5000, but most "drinkers" I've observed not only don't bet max, they bet 1 coin

On the other hand, those phrases that when said will sound as if you are
drunk, whether you have been drinking or not. Here's one. Try saying at a
slightly quicker pace than you normally speak, "Judicial system" --from
Dana Carvey.
