on last visit. It is located under the north escalators, just down
from the arcade. Just one machine in a mix of several assorted short-
pays against the wall. Don't confuse it with the one "tens or
better" JB game.
That's my wife's favorite machine in the entire place.
A little news, now about RP.
My father in law, who frequents RP (he lives in Kingman AZ), had heard
that River Palms is being sold to a hotel chain. After a little poking
around on the Internet, I found (in an article about the following
company buying a Harrah's hotel in MS):
"Columbia Sussex is one of the largest privately held hotel owners in
the country, and one of Marriott Corporation's top licensees."
...
"Earlier this year, the company purchased the Maxim in Las Vegas and
is
wrapping up a $40 million renovation of the 795-room hotel and casino,
scheduled to open later this year as the Westin Casuarina, Las Vegas.
[but we knew about that]
"Additionally, the company has contracted to purchase the River Palms
Casino in Laughlin, Nevada, and is awaiting regulatory approval for
that transaction."
Nice place--hope they don't ruin it.
