Upcoming trip to Vegas - ????

We plan on spending four days in LV the end of this month. We will
arrive Sun night late and leave early Fri morning. We will be in LV
to play quarter VP. We are tired of pitiful pay tables and seemingly
feeding the machines another twenty every five minutes. While we are
there I expect we will play for 12 to 16 hours per day at a rate of
400 and 700 hands per hour. Our plan is to visit casinos with full
pay machines which are virtually nonexistent, other than JoB, where
we normally play around home.

So we plan to visit Palms, Fiesta Rancho, and Texas Station. We will
join the slot club at each but will miss the cash back at those
places. We'll stay downtown and are getting a rental car to move
around the city but are not going to LV to spend hours driving
around. Any suggestions on better casinos for our main play
locations will be appreciated?

tnsilvertip,

I suggest you add the LVH to your list. Good VP and great cashback.
The slot club pays .55% cashback for VP, and 1.1% for reel slots.

Playing 12 hours per day (!) you will easily put through the $5K coin-
in required to get mailings with outstanding room offers.

Good luck on your trip.

The three casinos listed do not have cash back per se, but they do
have bounce back offers for locals, not sure what they would offer
visitors.

If you are staying downtown, there are a number of casinos that offer
full pay at the $.25 level and real cash back. Four Queens and
Horseshoe for 10/7 Double Bonus, Main Street Station for FPDW, Las
Vegas Club for downtown dueces, El Cortez for DD and DB, etc. All of
these offer room comps, which should be pretty easy to earn, given
the number of hours you intend to play.

Check the Las Vegas casino database in the links.

Good Luck,

If you want a good variety of quarter games and cashback consider the drive out to Casino Monte Lago at Lake Las Vegas. From downtown it is less than 1/2 hour and they have lots of FP DW, DB and JW. Their base cashback is .25% and have 2X points during August. The only problem is that you can only get cash in increments of $20 until Gaming approves them for giving it right at the machines.

Downtown there are several good choices with cashback.

Good luck.
