Upcoming 6-pack promo at EW/CB

Checking the latest edition of the Entertainer finds this blurb:

Colorado Belle/Edgewater: “6-Pack Attack!”
When: May 23-July 4
Prizes: Six-packs of Pepsi and Coors.
Format/Entry: Members of the ACCESS Players Club at either property who hit a
natural four-of-a-kind on quarter or higher video poker machines with maximum
coins bet and players club card inserted in the machine, will win a free
six-pack of Pepsi or Coors. Excludes 100% payback games; no wild games, no wild
cards.
Also, players can pick up a free 2-liter bottle of Pepsi with new ACCESS Club
sign-up. See ACCESS Club booths for details and restrictions.

These are always fun. Riverside and the Pioneer have done them over the
years. I have hand it to Marnell-Sher, they try something new about every month.

I buy "sale beer" for my household, whatever is the deal of the week. So I
would value a sixer of Coors at about $3.75 with tax included in Arizona.

Playing Bonus Poker and getting a quad every 424 hands or $530 coin-in that
puts a premium of .7%+. Sure beats a 125 coin COD.

Now there always has been a blackmarket for 6-Pack promos in Laughlin. But
just how much hassle will determine the discount factor. Will the coupons be
transferable...anyone can redeem? I am assuming a central distrubution point
like the other casinos have implemented recently.

I still laugh at how things worked at the Pioneer in the mid-90's. The floor
person actually brought the sixer right to your machine for hitting a quad.
The cases got piled high throughout the casino.

Aquarius just ran a bogus 12-pack of Coke promo. I hope they pay attention.

Let's HOPE they are organized in how those are given away;
AND if they run 'out', I hope there will be a CLEAR rules posting
daily on such a promotion....

This kind of promotion is worthless if you come in on a fly/stay
package. Years ago I did a Riverside flight, and they were doing the
6 pack promotion. No practical way to get very many of those home on
a flight.

Speaking of flights- I see the CB/EW are now doing fly/stay packages
from Ontario California. 45 minute flight. It looks a good deal if
you live in the Ontario area. Information is now up on both websites.
