Next week will be our (more or less) annual trip to LV from New
Jersey. Previously we had always stayed at the Fiesta. But they have
been increasingly tight about comps, so this year we are staying at
the San Remo. We had intended, however, to spend some time at the
Fiesta. Even though I never seem to get a Royal Flush in Las Vegas,
the idea that I COULD hit a large progressive is appealing.
Thanks to this board, we had heard the the Fiesta no longer had
multiple points days. When we called about this, we were told that
there were triple points days but that since the Fiesta catered to
locals, we did not qualify.
Given the way people play video poker in Atlantic City, I would think
LV casinos would WANT people from New Jersey.
