Oops! I accidentally deleted the photo so you can’t view it. I have a better screenshot anyway. Joker’s Vault is a progressive game that can and does go positive, and some big edges can be found. The main game has just one joker in the deck. When you make a full house (frequency 66.3) you get 10 free games. The payscale remains the same in the free games but there are 2 jokers in the deck. When you make a full house (frequency 54.9) in the free games you are awarded another set of 10 free games.
You can bet anywhere from 50 cents to $2. The optimum bet is just 50 cents to qualify for the meter. The progressive meter starts at $100 and runs at 1.667%. When you win 8 out of ten hands in any set of 10 free games you are awarded the money in the meter. Ploppies betting more than 50 cents a game run the meters up.
I generally don’t pay attention to this game until the meter runs above $500 as in this example where the meter is at $571. When the meter is above $500 it carries close to a 10% edge and an hourly rate at $40+. You can see the vault next to the meter. Notice the 7 hinges on the vault. When you win a free game a hinge will turn bright yellow.

In this next screenshot you can see that all 7 hinges are bright yellow. That’s because I have won 7 out of 9 free games. This is when the game gets exciting. I have one more hand to go. If I win that hand, all I have to do is make 2 Pair or Better, I get the money in the meter. So this hand carries super huge expectation:

No I didn’t win the hand. But I took the meter off just a little while later. It takes an average of 146.4 sets of free games to win the meter. But since you get an extra set of ten free games when you make a full house in free game mode it only takes an average of 119 full houses in the main game to win the meter.
119 X 66.3 means an average of 7900 regular games to take the meter off. The breakeven point in this game is a meter of $191 and that includes the meter. So a meter at $571 yields an average earn of $380. At my speed the average seat time on the play is 9 hours. So it’s about a $42 an hour play, which is about as cheap as I work.
