i don't know that it's unusual anymore, but this always makes for a good "i
went to las vegas and when i woke up the next morning" story: the first week
that palms opened its tattoo parlor, i figured 'what the heck', and asked at
the card desk if i could have a tattoo comped. after some intra-office
consultation, they replied that there were no procedures in place yet, and i was
the first to make the request, but why not? so i have the tattoo, and it
always makes for a good tongue-in-cheek 'morning after' story, and is especially
fun for telling to non-gamblers who know nothing about comps and just shake
their heads.
