Seriously, would you report an employee who you found less than courteous or
just let it slide...which I chose to do?

I would let it slide. They work hard and they get it from all sides.
Perhaps you were also less than courteous.

While I almost always agree with Karen as she is wise and kind, I think
there are many times that you do a true disservice to an organizations and other
employees of that corporation by not reporting less than polite individuals. I
once stopped using a service over a rude difficult employee. When I ran into
another employee some months later she did not wait to hear why I was gone.
She immediately said they were losing business and the management was
protecting several poor employees. I have a small business, let me know if my
secretary is less than courteous before you move on!

It has been my experience over the past 35 years of coming to Las Vegas that the number of rude and obnoxious visitors/locals by far outnumber the rude casino service people by about 100 to 1. It is also usual that these visitors/locals are the loudest complainers.

Bob, you post FAR too seldom for my taste

Thank you Harry. I appreciate that coming from you. I do not post
often because there are so many experts in this group that they do not
need someone stirring the pot up on a regular basis. The fact that I
first came to LV in 1961, have been playing VP since 1980, lived in
Nevada for many years and even worked for a major casino for several
years as a Electronics Maintenance Shift Supervisor, only makes me a
dinosaur with opinions that do not fit the guru's bible. I still have
many friends in middle and upper management in the Nevada casino
business. If I were to comment on everything that goes on, on this
board, I would either be placed on monitored status or banished from the
board. I prefer to sit back in the weeds and have a good chuckle every
day. But on occasion something comes along that irks me enough to comment.
