I played Ultimate for awhile yesterday and realized how quickly money can disappear. I also discovered that even a 25c game easily becomes taxable given the right set of circumstances.
I'm not sure how volatility could be determined. In Multi-Strike you have fixed multipliers, so issues like strategy changes and bankroll are easily programmable. In Ultimate the only strategy change I can imagine is potentially not breaking a FH with 3 Aces playing games like DB or DDB since the FH can bring a 12x multiplier on the next hand.
Your main challenge will be to find the game as full-pay since many casinos usually penalize players paytable-wise for choosing games with multipliers. I didn't sense Ultimate to be as volatile as TDB, but it's definitely a step or two up from STP. Again, just find a good underlying game and enjoy the ride.

Besides the underlying volatility of games normally such as (JOB , DDB,
DB) what does this additional feature do to the volatility? I would
venture to guess it's even higher than TDB but just figured I would get
some input. I'm primarily wondering for bankroll considerations on a
future trip to Las Vegas.
