U.S. Casinos Who Send Snail Mail to Canadians

Hi Albert,

I overlooked Stardust on my list - I joined their club in January, played for 3 hours (5-cent JW triple play, $.25 BP prog), and have received 2 or 3 mailings since. Buy one night at $38, 2nd night is free.

In today's mail came a piece from El Cortez. Joined there in January as well. Played about 2 hours of quarter DB, JW. They're offering a free room for 3 nights anytime between May and September, along with coupons for $10 food and other misc. stuff.

I have found that in Las Vegas the locals casinos do not mail out of country. The only ones that send any regular mail are on the strip, and not all of them.
I get regular mail from the following...
Las Vegas Hilton
Stardust
Westward Ho

With many others I deal directly with a Slot host or marketing.

As long and as often as I have been going to Las Vegas, I will never understand some of the Casino policies on mailing offers out of the country.
I can understand if they don't want to waste postage on people with minimal play, but I can't figure it out with places where you give moderate or higher play.
Here is a rundown of all the places that I have given moderate 5k/day or better play to and what I have received in the past 2 years. Maybe we can end up with a good depository
for canucks.

Downtown Casinos

Main Street Station - get poor offers very infrequently, treated fairly well by hosts.
Las Vegas Club - Used to get occasional offers under old management nothing under new.
Plaza - Same as Las Vegas club.

Boulder Strip

Boulder Station - nothing
Sam's Town - Doesn't mail to Canada except by accident sometimes. Hosts there seem to be improving.
Arizona Charlie's - nothing

Henderson area

Fiesta Henderson - No mail, some good hosts .
Green valley ranch - nothing
Sunset station - nothing

Off strip

Palms - nothing
Las Vegas Hilton - many offers, usually free room and $50 - $75 or free slot tournaments.
Palace station - used to get the odd post card, but I haven't given them any solid play in a long time
Gold Coast - nothing

On Strip

Westward Ho - Free room offers as regular as clockwork - minimal play given
Stardust - regular offers for free room and cash 2- 3 days and $25 - $75 - higher offers came after upping play to 6k and higher per day.
Frontier - No mail but easy rooms after 1000 points by calling number on slot card.
Circus Circus- Played twice stayed once on free room only offer (this year), will see how regular they are .
Stratosphere - used to get very regular mail, but has dropped off as I no longer play there since their inventory crapped out.
Sahara - used to get occasional mail, but have stopped going there per bad inventory .
Barbary Coast - used to get fairly regular tournament offers, stopped due to no longer playing because of bad inventory .
NYNY - Used to get fairly decent room plus cash offers, stopped playing and stopped receiving due to bad inventory.
Belly's- Used to get poor offers on minimal play, now no play due to bad inventory, and no more offers.

Well, that's all I can think of right now

Regards
A.P.

I just booked Air Canada non-stop return trip from Toronto to Las Vegas beginning of May for $366 total including all BS charges and taxes.

Me too: I booked myself out for weekend trips both in February and then again in March
for the same amount.---

If I decide not to go, changing the ticket only costs $30.00 and it can be applied to
another trip even if the fare is no longer the same and one has to pay a difference. Still
I've never seen a lower fare on Air Canada for Vegas. Its usually twice as much.

Woohoo! Now I can take advantage of some great offers.
