Can anyone comment on the games at Twin Pine in Middletown? I saw nothing in this forum or on VPFree2. I might be there for other reasons soon, and would like to know how their VP stacks up.
Twin Pine in Middletown
I guess no one here has been there. There's a little info on their website and Casino City. They have 514 gaming machines and 12 table games including 4 poker tables.

About three years ago I made a trip there, but don't recall seeing anything worthwhile. I'll be dropping in there regardless, sometime in the next week or so, and will report what I find.

You are better off going to either Hopland south of Ukiah or Lake County since these casinos have looser slots and VP than in Twin Pine.
I was there in Twin Pines helping confirm Colusa had the loosest VP games in North CA. The best VP games in Twin Pines had paybacks in 95% to 96% range. The VP games are very old IGT uprights and progressive machines from Summit Gaming.
Last month, Twin Pines had 2X points for 6 hours on Tuesday and a daily promo where 200 points gets you $10 in free play and 400 points gets you $25 in free play. Unfortunately, one dollar in coin-in does not equal 1 point.

Good luck.

You weren't kidding about the returns at Twin Pine. They have some of the ugliest pay tables I have seen. The best game I found was a bastardized All-American that came in around 97%. Otherwise it's a wasteland. I think I even saw 6/5 JoB, which is low enough to make even Gary Loveman blush.
They're still running the daily promo you mentioned (200pts = $10FP, 400pts = $25FP), but only on weekdays. And it appears that $4 of action equals 1 point. The standard FP rate is 200pts = $1, so the promo is a huge boost.
What do you know about the place in Hopland? I didn't see them listed on vpFree2.com either.

I recently visited Twin Pine for their BJs pays 2:1 promo. The TP VP inventory hasn't changed -- their machines continued to be dated.
As for Hopland, I recalled they offered 8/5 JOBs, which is a huge step up from 6/5 JOBs at Twin Pine. A few years ago, I did find one 99.7% N-Play game at Hopland.
In hindsight, I should have recommended River Rock (just south of Hopland using Highway 101), which in the past had numerous 99.5%+ games. However, it's hard to get to River Rock from Twin Pines since you have drive south to Napa and then drive north to Geyserville. Twin Pine to Hopland requires you to stay on route 175 -- not the safest road, but at least it's a direct route.
