I haven’t been tracking these recently, but now granddaughter Kaity is 21 and will be in town next week and this would be a fun thing to do with her. I would appreciate any input from people who have actually done any of these in the last year – and advice about the “good” ones and those that aren’t worth the effort.
The one at the Plaza looks good ($500 loss rebate). Any wrinkles in it I should be aware of? I know you do it one day and have to go back the next two days to get the full rebate.
Appreciate any help!!!!!

Check out the ACG and LVA coupons--many include new sign-up bonus. Also I think it was TR that had a "Pick 3" sign up bonus. Don't rememberthe details except one was like earn 25 points and get a free buffet. Sawthe flyer on the counter at Caesars.

Two things you need to be careful about:
1) Every day, you have a shorter window for your free play. Let's say you
join the club at 1pm on Monday and lose $500 by 6pm. Then you go to the
desk and tell them you lost it. After they confirm that, they give you a
card telling you that you can come back Tuesday and Wednesday from 6pm to
midnight to get $250 of that free play for each day. If you come back
Tuesday at 9pm, then that will also restrict when you can come back on
Wednesday. You can only get the other $250 of free play Wednesday 9pm to
midnight.
2) They ask you if you want to play your free play on machines or table
games. We chose machines, but we ended up regretting that. Almost all of
the video poker machines in the casino are disabled for free play. So if
you get the machines, you have the choice between reels, video keno, and
very bad video poker (~95%) at an uncomfortable bar with too much light. We
asked for table games chips the next day, but they said you can't change
your mind for the second day and you may only get the same kind you got on
the first day. So, if you choose machines, look at those 95% machines first
and have their strategies ready for the day after.
There may also be a gotcha for the table chips: they may be the kind of
chips that you lose either way, win or lose. If you want to choose them,
make sure you understand the exact rules before asking for the table games
chips, and make sure you choose the right table game for the kind of chip
they give you. (And please update us here if you chose the chips.)
