Instead of just giving you cash at the slot club for bounce back coupons,
they put the cash in a slot machine they have behind the counter. Then they cash
out the (in my case) $40, and give you the cash out ticket. I tried taking
this to the cashier, but she told me I had to play it through a machine.
I put it in a machine out on the floor, added three twenties (just to get rid
of them, I had too many), and cashed out without playing a hand. Took the
$100 ticket back to the cashier, and she accepted it without comment. I assume
you could just put in the ticket they give you, cash it out immediately, and
take it to the cashier. They are apparently instructed not to cash tickets with
the machine number of the slot machine behind the slot club counter, but any
other machine's ticket is fine.
Anyway, no big deal. Just takes an extra two minutes to get your bounce back
money. And I do play an hour or so on the dollar 10/7s once or twice a month,
on a day I cash my bounce back.
