Tuscany Downgrade

The bank of 10/7 Double Bonus has been changed to 9/7. Guess which VP "experts" didn't notice this on Friday and played them for almost an hour. This despite the fact that an employee came by while they were playing them and ripped off the "Not eligible for 5X points" signs. Duh! An early sign of Alzheimer's?

Don't feel too badly. When the Nugget downgraded the 10 play DB to 9/6. I played over 300 deals without noticing, until a dealt flush finally caused me to wake up. RG

This change must have been VERY recent. I got a RF on one of them just
over a week ago and I made sure that they were 10/7 before playing.

Thanks for the news, though. I really liked Tuscany and gave them a lot of
play.

When I was there on Thursday on the 4 to the royal promotion, rumors
were circulating about that being the last day for those machines.

Sounds like y'all still have pretty good focus and don't let anything
distract you.

I've done that more than a couple of times myself. I think we all have.

Duh! An early sign

of Alzheimer's?

Most of us are touched by someone close to us who develops cancer. As
we live longer and longer Alzheimer's is touching many of us also. It
is not a pleasant thing to see a loved one not recognize you and to
become a completely different personality.

So true. My 92-year-old preacher father is in a nursing home with Alzheimer's and it is SO sad. I mentioned Alzheimer's in a light tone when we made the mistake at Tuscany's, but as one gets older it is a fear always in the back of your mind. And when you make a mistake or can't remember something, it is a little unsettling.
