I understand that the DB paytable has been downgraded. Is the card-of-the
day still operational? With about a 10K handle/month, the coupons have been
$40/week which included 5 $40 in November. If you're playing on a 2x point day
and with 0.20% cashback and at least $160 (1.6%), some of the negative games
may be so-so.
Their 0.8% mdse/food and the extra wine may be attractive to some. I have a
few non-gambling visitors and these points might do nicely for rooms. It
definitely will not be high on the priority list to play but one always hates to
take the 3 months to build your "handle" for bounceback coupons and then lose
that credit in quickly stopping all play.
The Hilton, the Hard Rock and now the Tuscany are falling by the wayside.
The Palms is definitely cutting their levels versus 6 months ago. This may be a
prelude to 2006.
