Tunica

We're planning a first-time trip to Tunica in late February. If you've been there and are willing to share some tips about the area, (ie. which is the best hotel, etc,) please e-mail me privately. Thank you!

There is nothing to do in Tunica except get drunk, gamble and .........pick cotton but there is no cotton in the fields in February. Save your time and money for Las Vegas.

I don't think Tunica is bad. There are nice rooms, good places to eat, and decent entertainment. In good weather they have some nice golf courses. Above all, it's easy to get to for a lot of people and comps are very generous.

Thank you, Robert, for giving some specific positive and helpful information rather than giving general negative information that isn’t much help to anyone. We all need to remember that different people have different interests and different goals!!!

Personally I enjoy Tunica. We stay at the Horseshoe in one of their butler suites. They are large and beautiful. There are a total if three casinos in that area; two are Harrahs properties and one is MGM, the Gold Strike. It has better VP.

The wine room is a nice place for dinner but expensive. Try to get it comped.

They also have spa facilities there and another location they use.

Have fun
