Is anyone maintaining a current database on Vicksburg / Tunica? It
looks like most of the information is outdated. VPFree, VP Insider and
VideoPokerReview all seem to be outdated. Also interested in blackjack
info. I am planning a short trip thru the area in a couple weeks.
Specific questions are best hotel to stay in Vicksburg and what is the
best choice in Tunica between Resorts and Sheraton? Thanks, RW.
Tunica / Vicksburg
I made my only trip there in January. I found no
playable VP at any of the boats in Vicksburg or
Greenville, for that matter. Could not get a room comp
in Vicksburg, actually paid for a room for one night.
Did ok playing BJ in both towns. In Tunica I first
went to the Fitz because I had read someplace that it
was the best for comps. Arrived at 8:00 PM on a
Thursday, bought in for $2K at a BJ table, 10 or 15
minutes later had a room key for two nights, later
extended through Sunday. Today I got a mailer from
them which includes $125 each week in May. One thing I
liked about all the boats in Tunica is that the VP was
concentrated in one area, made scouting pretty easy.
The Fitz apparently has no good dollar games which is
what I usally play. I did the DIAD equilvalent in a
dollar Aces specialty machine where one got two draws
every time they started with 2 or 3 Aces, hit 4 Aces
···
on Friday evening for $2K. And as previously reported, I hit a $5 9/6 JOB progressive at the Resorts for some $22,825 ten minutes after walking into the place!!!tore. --- casinoredwolf <CasinoRedWolf@charter.net> wrote:

Sheraton rooms are superior to Resorts. Sheraton vp was superior to Resorts
(prog levels aside)when last I was there. There have been changes to
ownership and slot clubs, so I don't feel confident that any of my
information on club benefits is good anymore.
