We are going to Tunica Aug. 1st, 2nd,and 3rd. We are staying at the
Gold Strike (the most reasonable rate) and I was wondering if anyone
in the group knows if Sam's Town still has $1.00 9/6 DDB prog.? The
database states that it does but since there is no moderator, just
wondering if someone has been there recently. Also, I noticed that the
Gold Strike does not have their bank of 9/6 DDB. I loved that bank and
hit 2 Royals there the first time we visited Tunica. Any other recent
info would be greatly appreciated. Just read the latest info on the
Sheraton which will be very helpful. Thanks.
Tunica trip
Hi, I was in Tunica last week on a Sun-Wed. I don't remember seeing
any $1 progressive machines. The only progressives I saw were upstairs
at the bar with a seperate progressive for each suit and they were
quarters. I guess I could have missed them though, since I don't play
$1 or DDB.
I also played at Sheraton, they have a promotion going on where every
15 minutes they give away up to $100 in free play, I think you have to
have your card in a machine to be entered, they drew my name and I won
$94. That was a nice little extra in addition to their good vp.

No, there are no progs at Sam's anymore, except the quarter suited royal at
the upstairs bar. It has 8-5 DDB and 8-5 Jacks.
The only prog at Gold Strike (quarter) was severely downgraded to 7-5 DDB,
7-5 Bonus Deluxe and 6-5 Bonus.
The 100-coin penny (9-6 Jacks) and 10-coin quarter (9-6 DDB) progs at
Sheraton are the best progs left in Tunica.
