Tunica Trip

I had another business trip down to Memphis so I got a chance for a
little Tunica gaming.

I played at the Fitz because I like the Mult-Play Super Aces and NSUD.
I choose the NSUD this trip. Played $20,000 through the machine on
the triple play progressive and re-earned elite status. Fitz has a
program where $6,000 VP action in one day gives temp elite status for
3 month. This is important because now cash back is doubled (to 0.4%)
if you are elite.

Got some nice luck on the trip and drew a Jack to a 4 Royal hearts
draw on the middle line for my 4th Royal of the year (4 more than last
year!). Also got dealt Deuces! Ended up $1500 for my troubles.

Small inventory change. There are now only 2 50-play machines at the
25c level. The other two are 5c and all games are shorted.

Also played on the Sheraton 100 coin penny 9/6 JOB machines. The
progressive was at $1490 when I was there. Almost double!

Thanks for the report and congrats on the royal. The database says
Fitz Tunica has "(4) 25c (3/5 Play) MG/MD upstairs near the slot club
desk (one with PROG on dealt RF)". That sounds like the progressive
is only on one machine and only for the dealt RF. Which is strange
but I have seen many strange things in Mississippi.

Your royal was on a middle line. Are you saying these machines are
the same as the standard triple play NSUD progressives I play in LV
with progressives on all three lines in addition to a dealt RF
progressive? Is this true for all four machines? If so it may be
worth the few hours drive from Nashville for me to get there. Would
you classify the RF meters as fast, medium or slow compared to what
you see elsewhere?

Do have any information on comps?

Thanks
Don

There are 4 3/5 Play machines with NSUD, Super Aces and 9/6 JOB.
One of these has a progressive on the dealt royal. It is setup to
have individual lines of progressive but this has been hardcoded to
4000 coins for A,B and C lines. Only the dealt royal is
progressive. I timed the meter at 0.5%.

Comps are very easy in Tunica in general. Probably even easier at
the Fitz (not a very flash joint!). Comp dollars are kept secret so
it's hard to tell exactly how much you have but I always seem to
have more comps than cashback so it's higher than 0.4%. Free buffet
comp if you are elite status twice a day (buffet is bad though).
Room comps are very very easy. Easy upgrade to Pullman suite as
well (as with the rest of the Fitz, nothing special).

Bounce back cash can be very good. I am still working on exact
figures but 4 x $25 was earned with only $10,000 though.

Good luck
