Tunica observations

Recently on my first trip to Tunica, I noticed no additions or subtractions to be made to the database. My wife thought Paula Deen's buffet at Harrahs was excellent; I thought it was good, but I preferred the buffet at the Horseshoe. The lines at Paula Deen's were extremely long on Saturday night. My wife also mentioned she was tired of reading about and seeing Paula's pictures everywhere there. hehe

The shuttle that runs to all 9 casinos will be discontinued on June 15. A players club rep said some of the casinos wouldn't renew their contract. I don't know if this is a negotiationing ploy or not. Perhaps this will be temporary.

In one of the smaller casinos at the south end, there was a sign at a blackjack table that stated no discussing or showing each other your cards. LOL I wonder how or if this is enforced.

The best proof I've seen that dice control doesn't work was observed at the Horseshoe craps table. Odds of 100 to 1 are available there, which reduces the house edge on pass bets to .021% and don't pass lines to .014%. These percentages might, just might, even be insignificant to Bob Dancer. LOL

The Paula Deen buffet is likely to be crowded for some time. It's
being heavily advertised in the Birmingham market; I suspect
Nashville, Atlanta and Little Rock are getting the ads, too. It's very
good, but I think the 'Shoe has more variety. I'll gladly take either.

The significant factor isn't the percentage edge, but the edge in terms
of dollars. That is: if this is a $5 minimum craps table with no odds,
you expect to lose about 7 cents per each Pass bet. If the same table
has 100-to-1 odds and you take them, your expected loss remains the
same 7 cents.

(Taking the Odds increases the AMOUNT of your money AT RISK, so that 7
cents is a smaller percentage of your action. But your expected
losses haven't changed at all.)

I agree with your statements. My point is that a very small change in the frequency of rolls of 7's would make this a positive game IF dice controlling is possible. I highly doubt it's possible.

-Oh I forgot to mention that one of the dealers told me that Paula
Deen hit a $70,000 jackpot on a $20 bet on a high limit slot
recently.
