Now that the BPAF question has been answered, once again, does anyone
have the latest update on the VP inventory at Grand Casino Tunica ?
Thanks,

Thanks for the info.
A poster on the acvpp group said that smoke was a bad problem in the
Tunica casinos. I play in AC which has its share of smokers(
hopefully very few after this Sunday when casinos supposedly go to 75%
smoke free);anyway is it that big a problem in Tunica ?

My wife was in Tunica two weeks ago (I haven't been for a few years).
She complained about the smoke in the casinos.
She also indicated that she didn't find much good in the VP arena,
except at the Sheraton (also owned by Harrahs). She doesn't really do
a thourough search though. This is consistent with our past
experiences.
Good luck...
MS has a law limiting VP payback to <100%. The 99.9% payback machines
are the highest allowed. I believe it was once opined that multi-game
machines could have >100% games as long as the average was <100%. I
don't think this was ever verified.

The smoke is almost oppressive in some casinos. If there was a betting
line on which major gaming jurisdiction has the highest concentration
of smokers, Tunica would be the overwhelming favorite. What's worse is
that many smokers are downright militant (credit to VPFree member Sam
for this term). Smoking in elevators? It's normal. Smoking in line
at the slot club? It's normal. A smoker keeping a cigarette so
the "line of fire" is still going straight to your nose even when you
flinch at the smoke? It's normal.

Six of the nine Tunica properties have at least 9/6 JB.

I'd also suggest to any Tunica regulars (or even semi-regulars) that
you consider a subscription to http://www.tunica-vp.com/index.htm
This site has, by far, the most comprehensive listing of VP machines of
ANY gaming jurisdiction. After you sub, spend some time reviewing the
inventory pages because there are a few plays that aren't published
anywhere else...
Casinos Visited: Bally's, Sheraton, Horseshoe, Gold Strike.
Bally's - The best VP game I found there was full pay (dollar) Double
Aces & Faces, a 99% EV game. All VP games less than $1.00 are short
pay. All Bar-top VP games (at the free drink bar) are short pay even
if they are $1.00 or more.
Sheraton - full pay (9/6) JoB (in Dollars) on both the 1st and 2nd
floors. The 1st floor had a mixed bank advertized as 99.5% payback. I
don't recall the other games in ther bank. But they had a progressive
9/5 Job in dimes that had grown to over $2,000.00. Max coin was 10
coins per spin. $800 is 8000 coins, the Royal was paying a "Double
and a Half Jackpot" for the progressive: 20,000 (plus) coins. Also,
Double Deck BJ found for $15.00 minimum.
Horseshoe - Atrocious VP... 6/5 JoB in all denominations. Exciting
Double Deck BJ... Exciting because the table minimum was $15.00
instead of the customary $25.00
Gold Strike - I received a bad vibe here in March. The Player card
was not converted yet to MGM/ Mirage. Tourists from the Southeast
were playing a BJ based carnival game that sure seemed a lot
like "Super Fun 21" because it only paid even money on a natural 21.
Two times when I bought in an an empty table, I found a local woman
taking a seat next to me and trying to make small talk which I found
distracting since I try to concentrate on advantage plays and bet
spreads. I left there without checking the VP. One thing I found
unprofessional was that the BJ dealer was having a conversation with
a personal friend who sat down at my table for the free booze and did
not play a single hand.
Tunica has single deck BJ that pays 3:2 for a natural. Only the
Sheraton has full pay JoB (in Dollars) in MS. But they also had a
progressive 9/5 Job in dimes that was $2,000.00. Max coin was 10
coins per spin. $800 is 8000 coins, the Royal was paying a "Double
and a Half Jackpot" for the progressive: 20,000 (plus) coins. Please
tell me it was a positive game. Someone hit it while I was playing.
Then it reset for $800.00. Also, at Bally's, I hit Quad Aces on full
pay (dollar) Double Aces & Faces, a 99% EV game. It paid $800.00. So
I broke even on the Tunica Trip.

Grand has 25c, 50c and $1 9/6 JOB
Fitzgeralds has 50-Play 25c 9/6 JOB as well as NSUD and Super Aces
Resorts has 25c, 50c and $1 9/6 JOB
Sam's Town has 25c, 50c and $1 9/6 JOB
I travel to Tunica 2 or 3 times a month for work. These inventories
are correct as of yesterday...

Thank you, Kiwiboy.
Are there any DBDJ or All American to be found on Multi-Game machines
(as in New Jersey) which also has a prohibition on game machines with
over 100% (average) payback?
What is the ER on the Super Aces at Fitzgeralds? Only in 25 cent "50
play"? That's $62.50 per "spin" with max coin, right?

No 100% games I'm afraid. I love AA so I look out for it.
The Super Aces is 99.94%. You can play anywhere from 1 line to 50 so
it's 1.25 to 62.50 a hand depending on what you want to play. They
also have a triple play with a progressive on the dealt royal. This
has NSUD, JOB and Super Aces as well. Cash back is 0.2% and 0.4% for
Elite. You can do Elite in a day with just $6,000 coin-in.
Thank you, Kiwiboy.

I visit tunica quite often and play at about 1/2 of the casinos, I
really dont like smoke and I have never had any major problem at any
of the casinos in Tunica. Of course there is always the possibility
of having a inconsiderate smoker right next to you, but that could
happen anywhere.
Happy Royals
Jim
PS... Hearing of the AC casinos going mostly smoke free sounds so
wonderful that I may try to start going there.

I was told by a reliable source that resorts had no $1 and up JOB, is
it single line, and did they remove/downgrade the $1 3/5 play 9/6 JOB ?
thanks

The multi-plays are all shorted. There are only single line left. The
NSUD is also gone.
