My wife and I have planned a trip to Tunica Dec. 19 thru 26. Any tips
or recommendations on where to play and dine would be appreciated. We
both enjoy VP and slots and I am a Blackjack fan.

Best buffet : Horseshoe 1st, Grand 2nd
Best atmosphere : Horseshoe hands down
Best rooms : Sheraton 1st, Gold Strike 2nd
Best BJ : Horseshoe 1st, Gold Strike 2nd
Best VP : Hollywood 1st, Harrahs 2nd. Hollywood CB is about 4X what
Harrahs is. 9/6 JB is the best you will find in Tunica. However,
Harrahs does have some playable progressives.
Also, if you have a pulse and are playing at least a little at the
tables, the pitbosses will comp you to either coffee shop or buffet.
I played some Green Chip at Horseshoe and got a comp for 2 to
Yasmine's at Horseshoe. If you like Asian food, it doesn't get any
better than Yasmine's. IMO, for steakhouses, Fairbanks at Hollywood
is also excellent.
