Trusting Indian Casinos

If there is no mention in the help menu of the video poker game being tied to a bingo/lottery draw, is that proof of an honest/random game? BTW, all of the slot machines in this casino are tied to a bingo card.

I've never seen a Class II machine that describes the basis in the help. In
most jurisdictions they must display a bingo card on the face of the
machine, that should provide a sufficient hint as to their nature. And all
will reference a genie, match number or some method of changing the result
in their help section.

But are you asking if the Bingo game is fixed?

There is no bingo card displayed on the face of the machines. I would assume that means these are random. Might just be me, but in all of my visits to these casinos I get so many hands that are "near misses".

Where are these machines? As I said, not all jurisdictions require the bingo
card to be displayed.

Oklahoma. They have a good pay schedule and some are progressive. So they can be tied to a bingo card but still not displayed? How would you know then?

I don't know if anyone has posted this before but every machine that I have played has the following printed right on the glass:

"Game Uses One 52 Card Deck
     Only Highest Winner Paid
Malfunction Voids All Plays and Pays"

Of course, the relevant part here is that the game uses one 52 card deck (or 54 for a joker game, etc). I have been told that the bingo or lottery type machines say something to the effect of "Cards (or images) are shown for entertainment purposes only".

Hope this helps.

Oklahoma is a Class III state so those machines probably operate like Nevada
ones. Again, to be sure (since the OK casinos may have some Class II
machines mixed in) check the help. If there is no way to override the result
displayed, you can rely on the pay table.

Thanks Bill. The information you provided was really helpful. Thanks to everyone for their input on this subject also. I feel better about these machines now. Hopefully my negative run will end soon.
