Trumps Wants No Smoking Ban Recinded

Is smoking banned in Nevada casino gaming areas, or just in restaurants
and other common non gaming areas?

Not banned in casino, all other public areas. Most poker (real "live" poker, not VP) rooms are non-smoking (perhaps all?). Smoking ban was not being enforced a couple weeks ago when I was there, at least saw people in halls outside shopping areas and food court areas, etc., who were smoking. But, then, I see people smoking on elevators...

And everyone smokes in all the old movies I've been watching lately

Not entirely accurate. As it relates to casinos in Nevada, smoking is banned in any area
where food is served/eaten, so all public areas such as shopping malls, hallways, etc., are
available for smoking, but food courts are not. Some casinos have taken the ban further
on their own; for example, Bellagio only allows smoking on the gaming floor, but that is
their own policy and not law.
