Trump Plaza AC

Yesterday's visit was very disappointing. Most of the playable machines have had reductions in their pay schedules. I scouted all that were not being played and found only two machines with 9/6 JOB, 9/7 DB and 9/6 DDB. They will probably not remain since I saw slot techs looking at them too.

Looks like AC is quickly a place that I will no longer visit. Why drive two hours for machines I can find at PARX which is 10 minutes away.

Well, AC gets a lot of criticism. But unlike the Strip every casino has 9-6 machines at dollars and or quarters.
Compare that to the Harrah's block on the Strip.
AC has like an 8% casino tax while PA has a 55% tax-so I would put my money on AC keeping better games, promotions, etc. into the future.

I agree with the reply below. I live in the Pittsburgh region so I frequent The Rivers in Pittsburgh, The Meadows in Washington county, Mountaineer in nearby WV and in all 3 places you will be hard pressed to find full pay machines or even close. I try to get down to AC a couple of times a year and I usually stay at Taj. IMO,I prefer playing in AC cause they offer better games with better promos.

Don't have any current info on Parx. It has been over a year and a half since I last visited there. Vowed to not go back when the best DDB I could find was 8/5. May make a visit soon to scout what the paytables are now. Will post when I have some info.

I agree. I live about 10 minute's from Parx, and never go there except to use free play. I think there best machines are 9/6/4 double bonus, or something like that. And the food options at Parx are lousy. Just one overpriced fast-food joint and a chain restarant. Most places in Atlantic City have 9/6 Jack's or Better or 8/5 Bonus Poker. It's worth the extra hour drive for me.

What a shame -- I was there a few days ago and couldn't find any of the "Old" 9/6 machines remaining at FP schedules. The database still has some machines listed as 9/6.. could anyone confirm or deny whether there still are full pay JoB machines at TP? If so, where are they located.

Where did you see the 9/6 JoB? I was just there yesterday and couldn't find any. The best I found was an 8/5 BP in the $5 denom which is too expensive so I settled for 7/5 BP.

I didn't -- that was the purpose of my post. The fact that the database still listed some 9/6 JoB machines and I was curious if that needed updating, or perhaps, I may have missed some.

I checked the previous 9/6 machines only to find them all 8/5.

Can anyone confirm whether ALL 9/6 JoB is gone or perhaps update VPFree?

TIA

I knew it. Me and my GF scouted the casino for an hour. I was sure we checked them all. We settled for .25 BP. We only played for there new member promo...earn 20 points and get 25 free play and 25 food comp plus free parking for your first 2 trips. We ended up down $25 between the two of us but had a great lunch at the 24 cafe so it was worth it!

Its better if you settle by going to Resort's for 8/5 bonus, where there's plenty in quarter's. Borgota has lots of 9/6 Jacks or better. Trump Plaza used to be good, but now its a dump.
