Just got back from a visit and overnight stay at the Trump Casino in
Gary, IN. When I arrived on Sunday, February 22 there was a few
quarter 9/6 JOB machines near the table games but by that evening
they were shut off with signs on them that they were being moved.
The Trump casino has this on going promotion where new members can
get a scratch off worth between $10 to $1000 when they earn their
first 25 points. I watched the slot card reader and it takes about
$5 coin in to earn one point. It's relatively easy to earn 25 points
on video poker. My wife and I both earned 25 points and our scratch
off cards were for $10 each.
There is plenty of quarter NSUD in the casino. They also have a bank
quarter 7/5 Bonus VP progressive machines. At one point on Sunday
the meter was up to $1400.
The Majestic Star Casino is next to the Trump Casino. We also played
there. They have quarter 9/7 DB and quarter 9/6 JOB but I found the
Majestic Star to be more run down and more smokey than Trump. There
were cigarette ashes all over many of the video poker screens.
