Tropicanna VP and card

In reviewing the old posts from awhile back there was some friction about just what was on the floor and if the long running quad 7's pays triple. Well last Sunday I saw 8 signs for the promo in the high limit area on 8 slant-tops with $1-2 8/5 Bonus.

There were other signs for the promo in the new non-smoking area but the games were 7/5.

I have seen the inventory in Trop change for the better for a weekend special event, then return to normal on Monday.

I exchanged my old card, but I did not really learn anything. Wasn't the Trop one of those FIFO cards like AQ?

Hi,

The new Tropicana cards are FIFO. They do look at your play
every 6 months for card upgrade and I think the 7th month
of play is deleted and not part of the decision.

I believe the Aquarius has changed their system and you
now mainly just need to keep their card active each year
to not lose cash back and comps. The just upgraded my card
and said my card level was good for one year. Card level
points are earned on a very complicated and secret system.
They do generally tell you some of the things they consider,
but you have no way of knowing how many tier point you
are earning. You need to wait until 24 hours later to find
out have many points you earned the previous day. You can
get a general idea by keeping track of you play, time,
machine demonimation, etc. but this is not really worth
it since it will still only be a "ball park" estimate.
