Tropicana Express Laughlin vp

My observations from last weekend at Trop Exp. Laughlin:

I was hunting for 8/5 bonus poker with triple payouts for 4 sevens, at any denomination.

There are none at the Grand Junction bar. What a shame. I'm going to miss Felix.

There are none at the north end of the casino on either the east (river) or west (hotel) sides of the "block" formed by the cashier/hotel desk.

So I think that the 5 locations currently listed at vpfree2 can be deleted.

But,

There are about 26 slant-tops in the Grand Junction high-end area surrounding the bar, at $1, $2 & $5 levels.

And there are about 15 slant-tops in front of the main cage, in the 2nd and 3rd rows of back-to-back machines (counting from the cage), at $1 level. Some face the cage, some face the other way.

All these games are clearly marked with "Triple Payout" signage, but many short-pay machines also have these signs, so watch those paytables.

There could be more, I didn't have time to canvas the whole casino.

Within the past week, all of the "4Sevens" promo signs on the slant top machine candles in the NON-SMOKING area were removed. (They remain on the upright machines in that area ... and, also as stated below, there are many in the smoking area.). BUT, the only full pay Bonus Poker plays are at the $1, $2, $5 level. Most, if not all, of the full pay BP machines in the smoking area DO have the Sevens promo; the $1 full pay BP in the non-smoking area now DO NOT have the Sevens promo.

Players at the quarter and fifty-cent levels are out of luck ... ALL of the BP at that level is short pay (some do have the sevens promo ... but with the short pay tables they are still only in the upper 98% return level).

To try to summarize:

No full pay machines at the quarter or fifty cent level in either smoking or non-smoking areas (although many do have the sevens promo -- 98.9%).

Non-Smoking have full BP at the $1 level (99.17%) but without the sevens promo.

Smoking area has many $1 $2 $5 full pay BP machines with sevens promo (100.0%)
