It's really a shame that people keep on reporting misinformation. I was
there last week & didn't have any trouble finding 8/5 BP with 7's pay triple.
At least a dozen machines in high limit & near check-in. the signs were so
obvious that I have to think this was deliberate misinformation. The real
change that ought to be reported is that the point rate is $6/pt. It's
reminiscent of old times but I think it's still better than the Ramada Express
rate. It was my 2nd 1-day trip to Laughlin this year &, sad to say, I think
I have to keep my trips to Laughlin to a minimum. Even though I prefer
Laughlin, LV is so desperate, their offers are so much better that it leaves
little time for Laughlin. I think the future ahead is clouded since the cheap
LV room rates, discount shows & meals will be around for a while & will
suck a lot out of the Laughlin market. Most likely the weaklings won't
survive. (River Palms has been there before.)

It's really a shame to see this place going downhill, we found it to be a
real treat, and not as popular as other places on the River amongst VP
players. We were pretty happy with the 7's pay triple, but now that's gone,
and the River Palms is looking bad too.
