TROP - SLOT Club benefits 'halved' (Dbl-coin in slots/vp)

They are in the process of 're-doing' their slot club brochure.

Basically, it now takes $6/pt (vs. former $3) in VP machine games,
and $2/pt (vs. former $1/pt) on any slot game.

(What can I say, I occaisionally tinkered with penny slots as a diversion, and it seemed to keep free offers coming).

Sorry for bad news. The 'good' is that there are 8/5 BPs with triple on 4-7s (.25 scattered, most good ones in uprights near buffet, or just past registration/Leroy's sportsbook side of casino. -a few slanttops have eaten my bankroll over there!).

As Jean Scot mentioned in recent blog though:

"Reducing benefits is a sign of the tough times casinos are facing. And don't be surprised if there is going to be a lot more of this. On the other hand, some casinos are ramping up the promotions to get more customers into their properties. So, cherry-picking is the name of the game, as it always is whether good times or bad!"

So - pick your decisions. As for me, I may tone down my machine play and go back to 4-6 hours of 'leisurely' fun live poker.
That's what got me in their marketing database before.

Only time will tell...

Martin.
PS - THIS is fun - posted from the FREE internet service in Laughlin public library.

I have an elite card at the Tropicana. How many points did I have to get to get one? Can't figure them out. Can you get it a day?? Thanks:)
