During our stay at Aria last week I was generally disappointed bu the VP selection. The only full-pay offerings I saw were at $5 and up. You'll take at least a 1% hit playing at the $1 denomination and another 1% or more paytable cut at lower levels. Progressives can go as low as 6/5 Jacks.
That strategy is a shame, because Aria has a new game I'd consider playing. But, alas, no opening day VP paytable "specials" for Mikey.
The game is Triple Spin Poker. Max coin at 135 coins per spin (3 hands x 9 lines x 5 coins per line) costs $675 for the full-pay $5 play. Not surprisingly, all of these machines were completely unoccupied during our stay.
Triple Spin is a hybrid of Spin Poker and Three Play. You hold cards on the bottom Spin hand. Your hold cards then flow through to two other hands. But the draws on all 3 hands are independant.
I'd guess this game is subject to the same fluctuations as any game where your outcome is so influenced by your initial starting hand. In other words, you probably live or die by being dealt good hands of at least high pairs or better. When you get mixed cards in different suits, I'd suspect 135 coins per game wipes you out in no time flat.
If any of you Spin Poker fans can find this game elsewhere with a good paytable at lower denominations you may want to give it a shot.
