This is an interesting question. At GVRS, on the dollar triple plays with
meters for each Royal, and a separate meter for the Dealt Royal (machines were
removed last September), it showed on the screen each meter, and the Dealt
Royal meter said "ALL," at least on the screen. The big display above the bank
said "Dealt Royal." I think that since the word "ALL" was used on the screen,
you would have a good argument for collecting the Dealt Royal amount even if
you drew to a RF4 and got all three Royals.
The chances of being dealt a RF4 and hitting three Royals on a triple play
machine is less than one in 280,000,000 for each dealt hand. The chances of
being dealt a pat Royal is one in 649,740, or 430 times more likely. I have
caught TWO Royals at triple play on two separate occasions. Years ago, I was
playing triple play next to a guy at the Orleans who held a RF3 and hit TWO
Royals! Quite amazing to see!

Is it just me or did the machines used to imply or state that the meter
would be paid for any triple royal dealt or redraw but now the signs all
say "dealt royal".
