Was playing some 25 cent triple play 10-7 when I was dealt
6c 7c 8c Tc 3h. I tossed the 3h and caught the 9c on the bottom line,
the 9c on the center line, and the 9c on the top line. It was an IGT
machine. I beat the odds of 103,822 to 1 in making that hand. Sweet.
Interesting to note, if I had caught the Ks Qh and Jc, the odds of
catching those 3 cards were also 103,822-1 against. In other words,
every draw is a "miracle". It is just that we value some miracles more

I was thinking the same thing when someone had just hit a dealt royal
in sequence and was wondering what the odds were.
