At 8PM this evening I observed only 7 people playing quarter
Triple Pay on 107 machines. About the same number of people were playing nickel or dime short pay deuces on these machines.

Scot is correct. For $20, you get $50 "play" in a special bank of
machines. These are special because of their overwhelming tightness.
Also, you can't cash out. You play until you either lose, in which
case you get to choose a gift, or until you hit one of the playing
combinations on the machine. Supposedly, this rarely happens, so make
sure you find a gift you like in the cabinet before you plunk down
your Jackson.
