Triple Bonus Poker Plus

Hey there, Bobby in Colorado here. Been a member here now for quite a
while but mostly just read and lurk learning from the more experienced
players. I play mostly in the casinos here in Colorado which are
regulated just like Nevada. I do try to get to Vegas a few times a year
also. I have Win Poker and Frugal Video Poker on the computer as my
coach. (Thanks Bob and Jean). I try to study strategy of games quite
well before I ever dump money into a new game. Problem here in Colorado
is most pay tables really suck(even with comps and casino cash back).
The best EV game I can find here in Triple Bonus Poker Plus. This is a
9/5 game(at certain casinos) and I believe has a EV of 99.8%. I pretty
much play quarter machines.
What I was wondering if there are any other members that play this
specific game much? What would be a reccomended bankroll to deal with
the variance? Any other opinions on this game would be appreciated.I do
post on our VPcolorado page but this is a much more active site. Thanks
a lot. Bobby

I play that game occasionally here in Las Vegas. I believe your
percentage number is correct; and it is pretty decent for a non 100%
game. The game is sort of similar to White Hot Aces, which seems to
be more prevalent. I can't help you on the bankroll, because if I
play TBPP, it is part of an overall multi-game session. I am sure
someone else can comment on a bnkroll if one was to only play TBPP.

TB+ is one of the best games available around here too (the magical
mystical completely made up land of Buffington Harbor IN. Charles is
correct --- it's a slightly better version of WHA (you get 500 coins
for a SF instead of 400). In Vegas I've seen the game only at Rampart
and the Suncoast. As you've practiced, I'm sure you've already
noticed that TB+ is relatively volatile (not as big hit sensitive as
DDB, but far more so than 10/7 DB). That means bring a lot of money.
