Bob- I am no expert on the amount of play required at the Colorado
Belle, but I have figured out that coin in day is the king. I have
been on some type of RFB for about 4 years now at the Belle. What I
do is play very heavy one day, and then never stick my card in again.
It must be sometype of rolling average, as one trip a year ago I only
put in less than 2K the whole trip, and they gave me rooms and food.
It just dropped me down to gold card status. Here are the card levels as I know them:
Gold- Free dining in the Buffet, Coffee Shop and Snack Shop
Silver- Add in the Boiler Room and Mark Twains
White- Add in Orleans Room and Mississippi Lounge. My first night there at the Orleans Room, my wife order the steak and
lobster, and I ordered the rack of lamb. We had crab cakes as an
apetizer, and I order a cheaper bottle of wine. No way to eat any
dessert. When the bill came, he said it was all covered including the
wine. When I asked about the wine, he said anything you want except
if you order anything in the $200 wine area they have to call a host.
I hate to admit it, but I probably could not tell the difference
between a $20 and a $200 bottle of wine. Also the story going around reguarding the sale of the CB and EW:
They delayed the sale until after the River Run. They did not want to
lose the revenue, as this is the time where they make good money. All this talk about color of cards and dining status probably will
just become a moot point after the sales goes through. Enjoy it while
you can.

I think there is another point of discussion for this food card thing. It
really isn't part of any special offer, right? You just book the marketing
offer and then they surprise you at check-in with the card, right?
Can you earn food card status on a current trip?

The Sale- I still have not seen anything about Marnell going before the
gaming board. Isn't that necessary before they can set a closing date for the sale?
