A couple of more fleas infested Vegas. Arrived Sunday and headed for
South Point. Never been there before, but thanks to the spoon-fed
information in the database that told me their exact location, we
were playing the FPDW in a few minutes. Played till late afternoon;
wife hit deuces.
Never played at Wynn either but they offered a room amd $50 free play
so we accepted. Using the database info, quickly found the $ NSUD
and the JOB spin poker. Broke even on the NSUD. lost $100 on SP.
(Got the buffet for getting 150 points, but was expecting it to be
much better. All the food was OK, but nothing was really great)
Monday headed to Fiesta Rancho, which is more our style (even liked
their buffet better). I hit the deuces 4 times and wife hit them 3
times. Tuesday we hit them twice each. It was one of those times
when almost every hand was a winner. I decided my machine was
malfunctioning and reported it to management - just kidding. Never
hit a royal and only hit the deuces a few more times, but we were
still way up when we left.
Finished up Friday at the Palms where we usually do well, but should
have just skipped it.
It was a great trip for us low-rollers just out for a good time.
