saw during our 2/5-19th vacation.
Last night I saw the James Brown show at the Texas Station - and what a show
it was!! Incredibly high energy, fabulous performers (his sax players are
unbelievable), dancers (James Brown is, as ever, the only man on the stage in
tight pants - he has lost none of his energy since the time I saw him in the
eighties in Toronto), woman singer who was fabulous - and they manage the
crowd very well indeed. By the end I was standing up, singing, dancing,
waving my arms and amazed at my sixty-one-year old (forget I said that) self.
Somehow he does this up to 300 times a year and he's in his seventies!!
