Trip report, Shreveport - Short

We had a good trip, and came back up $2200 between the two of us.
Didn't win in the car drawing. Didn't play very much VP. Highlight
of this trip was $2800 won on the dollar 3/5 play 10/6 DDB ( Quads
5-King 200, wipoker say 99.02% ) at the Downs. Played Super Ace
10 play and 3 Play also a little $1 9/6 Jacks. Didn't want to play
the $5 9/6 Jacks at Harrah's since the RF is 3125 coins and over at
the Downs it is 4000 coins, but did while waiting for dinner at The
Steak House. I put in $500 and finally caught a 4K to cash out $100
up. Though it best to quit at that point, even left the quad
showing on the the screen.... very unusual for me! Dinner was great
again. I ask for Henry , who is very personable, and does a great
job. Didn't stay the full two nights, left Monday at 4:00 PM. This
was the first time to be on the Concierge floor, the lounge made a
nice extra, Ann and I enjoyed it!
I asked some of Harrah's Staff when the Sale might be complete, they
said around April. I wonder if it will help the VP in the area!?
Played some $5 slot as a , take a chance thingy at the Boomtown on
the 3X cash back Promo( $1 and up) - collected $15 and it only cost
me $500 to $800. Not a good exchange rate! The BT is very under
staffed and it took Ann over 40 minuets to get her Jackpot. Don't
get in a hurry there! At the Hollywood, lost $400 on the 10 play SA
but, didn't play that much.... was tired and a little high, from the
hour( 11:30 PM )and the dinner. It was a good bottle of wine.
Enjoyed treating Ann's friend's to Dinner and inviting them up to
the lounge. Ann and friend played some slots together and hit one
jackpot and several nice pots which they split. She did better on
this trip than any before! It was a nice start for 2004!

Live long and prosper!
