Trip Report- Reno Oct 31-Nov 3

In the previous reply there is a typo for the difference for 10 vs 11 on
the FH (s/b 1.06% not 0.06%.) This is reasonable since drops for the FH are
about 1.1% on most jacks or better game types.
The old DOS program, Stanford Wong Video Poker handles different three of a
kind values. I used that many years ago to generate a strategy for the 10-8
version. I use Windows based PCs. There was an Apple version as well. I
still use the companion program VPEXACT when I need to get a percantage for
a game of this type.
(Hint to Wolf Software: would be a nice update for Frugal VP.)

Mark, get a copy of vpfreebie and you can set up Nevada Bonus
yourself. Lots of little things, like throwing away a high pair for 4
for a flush, are required.

Thanks for the info Howard. I just bought the Wong book (used) but haven't
read it yet. What fun to run an old DOS program, maybe I'll give it a try
sometime. To think that was high tech not that long ago.

That 1% error was me! Oops. Color me red-faced. A recent post of mine
chided Dancer for a 1% error in two of his DDB columns. I guess I had it
coming: "it could happen to anyone". I need to proof-read my own posts
especially when I get into the Sacred Numbers. Humility is a good thing to
learn.
