Southwest Flight from Seattle.
Comped delux Suite at Silver Legacy.
Limo, comped meals, + a surprise $500 Cash bonus.
Silver Legacy has ADDED Full-Pay machines in October: 8 additional
FPDW
Progressives, next to the south Ladies room, for a total of 14 of
these uprights.
For all the publicity this game gets, these machines were never full.
Last trip, I noticed ten new 50-cent Bonus Poker (99.17%) slant tops
and this
trip I played them a lot. Hit Quad A's twice for +$200, no Royal. A
very
pleasant game, old machines, and a nice denom "step-up" between
quarters
and dollars. They also have 4 $1 Bonus poker slant tops, neither
denom is
Progressive.
Another change at Silver Legacy is the loss of 4 $1 DDB (98.98%)
progressive machines - the bank of 20 is now a bank of 16. They put
an aisle
in the middle of them. (east of center bar). I saw the RF hit for
about $4500,
but it wasn't on my machine.
As reported in a previous trip report, there are (2) Deuces Bonus $1
slant tops
outside of the Sweetwater on the 2nd floor. Pay Table:
4000/2000/1000/400/
200/100/125/45/20/20/15/5/5 for RF/Quad2s+A/Quad 2s/FiveAs/Five
3,4,5s/
Five 6-K/wildRF/SF/4K/FH/FL/str8 and trips. 99.45% Played it a
bunch,
couldn't hit it for more than the $200 for Five 4s.
I made a disastrous run on the $5 9/6JoB that wiped out about half my
stake
in less than an hour. I tried all four machines and I have NEVER had
such a
bad run of final hands. Still hurts to mention it.
Other games I played this trip: .25 FPJoker wild (100.6%) and .25
Nevada
Bonus Poker (98.77%) Both on 8 MultiGame slants near Keno. I
couldn't hit
any Royals nor mini-jackpots on these. I sure liked the nourishment
of the10/
8 FH/FL on Nevada bonus, and the lure of Quad A's for 1000 was always
there. (KK+) Joker has that nice 100 cred nourishment for quads and
the
1000 coin drop for 5-of-a-Kind.
Friday was strangely quiet: turns out Donner Pass & I-80 was closed
for 11
hrs due to 2 separate pile-ups of semis. Temps dropped from 80
earlier in the
week to teens at night. Heavy snow in the mountains, a light
dusting in the
city. Silver has been giving out a lot of CASH certs to offset the
new Indian
Casinos in CA that they don't want to hurt their business.
Stats for my trip: played 47 hrs of 74 in town.
.25: 12 hr, -$400
.50: 19 hr, -$500
$1: 15 hr, -$1600
$5: 1 hr, -$1100
Jackpots: (Quads, SFs; Quints, Wild RFs)
.25: 3 X 62.50
.50: 9X62.50; 9X100; 2X125; 2X200
$1: 5X100; 5X125; 2X200; 5X250; 1X400; 1X800
$5: 2X 225 (FH)
I arrived 5PM Friday and played even until about 3PM Sunday. After
my big
hurt at $5, I had steady losses until departing 7PM Monday. But I
never went
"on tilt".
I was joined by 4 friends from Seattle, for their annual trip. They
enjoyed
themselves, two left even, two lost most of their "stake".
I hit two rare SFs 1st one on .25 DDB, the other on .50 Bonus. Held
3 each
time I believe. Only one handpay: Quad As w/o kicker on $1 DDB for
+$800.
I never took the time to scout Harrah's $1 FPDW. I would have liked
a photo
and a Jackpot at this supposed rarity.
If anyone has some "delta" strategy hints for Nevada Bonus (delta
from 9/6
JoB or from 9/6 DDB perhaps?)or for the Deuces Bonus (delta from
NSUD
perhaps), I'd sure appreciate it.
That might be IT for this year for me: Big Losses Labor Day and this
trip
zeroed out my bankroll from winnings in the spring.
Cheers.
