For all those that may be interested I have posted a lengthy trip
report on the Vegas Connection Discussion Board.
Hi James,
I enjoyed your long trip report, and was happy to read about your
interesting and sucessful sojourn in LV.
Being a very frequent flyer, who is annoyed by people who recline
their seat so that they are literally lying in my lap, I do have a
question. Did you ask the "old Bag" sitting behind you to please
refrain from kicking your seat, before you forcefully put your seat
back?
I have found that when these unpleasant and sometimes uncomfortable
situations arise, while flying, that USUALLY (NOT always) a polite
request to refrain from continuing the annoying activity, works
well. When that doesn't do the trick, a conversation with the flight
attendant frequently will correct the problem. The last choice, for
me at least, would be a semi-violent retaliation.
Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed your long LV stay, and look forward to
reading your next report, in the spring.
