A great report!! I really liked hearing about the food and other non
gambling occurences. I enjoy the different kinds of food in Vegas, compared
to Pascoag RI, population 4000. it was interesting to see just how much
difference cashback and comps made to the trip. Thanks again. Annie
This will be as brief as possible....
Some observations that may not be known to everyone....
Really bad news about the Stardust for visitors.....
They are pulling a NYNY on their players. They are putting the cost of your
room against your comp account. I asked for a breakfast buffet and was
turned down. "You are in a deficit status I was told" . I gave them 18k play
in 3 days.
The Palms has a really good inexpensive buffet, tried bkfst , lunch and dinner, was not dissappointed with any of them. .
The buffet at the Stratosphere is best if you get there around 11:30, you get a good brunch selection. Their seafood buffet is not worth it. Fellinis at the Stratosphere, good food and good service.
The progressive jackpots at the Stardust bars can get very good. Spade Royal got to over $2000 when I was there,
and there was no mob tying up all the machines.
