Trip Report Part 2 - Mirage/Caesar's - Apr 5th thru 8th

Our total coin-in for this trip was roughly $160K, by far our highest
ever (about 90K at the Mirage and 70K at Caesar's). The suite offer
we used at the Mirage was a mailer, and indicated in fine print that
additional complimentaries would only be available if we exceeded 75K
Player's Club points (or $225K coin-in for the trip). And since we
had no intention of giving them that much action with only Ugly Ducks
available, it's probably likely that we won't receive a comparable
offer from the Mirage again.

However, we're now hoping that Caesar's makes us an offer based on
the 70K coin-in we did there in one very long and incredibly fun
afternoon (any opinion on what we can expect would be appreciated).
Side note: Drink service at Caesar's was excellent compared to the
Mirage's, which is Okay.

Excluding our $500 loss on slot play (yes, and embarassingly, we drop
this amount just about every trip on $0.25 Wheel of Fortune
Megabucks), we only lost $1,000 on VP for the trip (roughly 0.6%). I
only hit two big hands (4 dueces for $500 each), but the wife was on
fire. Two natural RF's on the same $0.50 SpinPoker for $2,000 each,
six quad deuces for $500 each on several machines at the two Mirage
banks mentioned previously, and $700 on the 5-play Multi-strike at
Caesar's. The long afternoon with the 9/6 JOB Super Times Pay netted
us a $2,300 loss, but we're praying Caesar's doesn't downgrade them
before we go back, because we can't wait to pound them long and hard
again.

Finally, a big shout out to Veronica and Walt from NY, a
wonderful "VP Couple" we met at the Super Times machines at Caesar's.

Thank you VPFRee for enhancing our VP experience, and here's wishing
all you more than your fair share of RF's.
